Carlos Roberts looking to the future

A New Year’s message from Lord Roberts, owner of Passing Clouds.

2010 represents a year of challenge for Passing Clouds with the ever increasing demand for quality and good value in the face of stern competition from our rivals.

The current global financial situation has meant that many operators within the holiday home and leisure industry are faced with difficult decisions on where to invest ever decreasing funds.

I want to assure all who have chosen Passing Clouds as their preferred haven of relaxation, that we are striving to maintain the standards of excellence for which we have become famous. However, savings must be made, and i will be announcing the introduction of a series of measures that i think will tighten the way we go about our business.

In the meantime, and as a priority restructuring measure, i have decided to close the dophinarium with immediate effect. The veterinary costs to treat the yellow growth on Ming’s beak have become overbearing, and both he and Tabetha are to be ‘re-homed’ at the Birkenhead emulsifier facility on the Wirral.

Slightly off topic, I was disappointed by a request from the owner of a Caravelle super 48 on my last visit to the retreat. He was informed that i do not carry people’s bags from car boots into luxury homes and that it is a service we do not operate.

That aside, i would like to take this opportunity to wish all home owners here at passing Clouds every success and happiness for the New Year.

Carlos
